Here is your chance to win a quarter page ad in the 2012 Bravo Awards Program Book! Simply attend 4 NAWBO VC sponsored and hosted events between January and March, and you will automatically be placed in the drawing. Here are the specifics:
1. Open to NAWBO VC Members
2. Drawing will take place at the March 22nd meeting.
3. Winner must comply with the Bravo ad guidelines and ad submission deadline

Here is another way to win an ad space. The NAWBO VC member that brings the most new guests between January thru March to the above listed events will win a quarter page ad in the Bravo Program Book. Each guest will ONLY be counted ONCE, regardless of the number of events attended. Example: A guest attending three different events will be counted only once towards the member’s guest total. In the event of a tie, a special drawing will be conducted to determine the winner. The winner will be announced at the March 22nd meeting. Winner must comply with the Bravo ad guidelines and ad submission deadline.

President's Message
"How fortunate are we?"
In the latest issue of Newsweek, the feature article was “Where women are winning”. All across the world women are now joining their male counterparts for positions in corporations to political offices. Some of those countries are still very behind in that process.
So how fortunate are we that we can take our creative and entrepreneurial spirit and make it work. In California alone women own just over 50% of all the new businesses that are opened. NAWBO has been a helping hand in that process. By being part of the chapter, you have so many mentors and resources to access.
Make the most out of your membership, use the resources that are there. The best way is to get involved, join a committee or just volunteer at an event.
Make sure that you mark your calendars for the upcoming meetings.
